RPA prepared a broad-brush assessment to review past, current and future trends in public expenditure, high level policy directions for agriculture, conservation and flood management, and to assess options for future sustainable management of the Somerset Moors and Levels, with reference to future climate change. We also investigated the reasons for the decline of the reed and sedge cutting industry for the Norfolk Broads Authority. The Authority has since taken steps to revive the industry. Read more...
