For the substances and/or preparations which you use, you have the following right:

• to request safety data sheets from manufacturers of the substances that you distribute

 

For the substances and/or preparations which you use, you have the following obligations:

• to communicate relevant use, hazard and risk data and information relating to exposure scenarios received from organisations below you in the supply chain to the organisation immediately above you in the supply chain;
• to communicate relevant exposure scenario data to those below you in the supply chain, typically via safety data sheets; and
• to assemble and keep available for inspection all information relating to carrying out your duties under REACH for at least 10 years after you last distrebuted a substance or preparation

 

Retailers

Retailers are a sub-group of distributors, but as consumers are not downstream users, your supply chain stops with them and there will be less to communicate
