Mark Peacock, a Researcher with RPA, has degrees in Economics and Industrial Economics. Since joining RPA in 2004, Mr Peacock has provided research support in various studies assessing the business impacts of regulation. He has been involved in the sectoral analysis of the defence industry and an Impact Assessment relating to the Economic and Governance Evolution of Space in Europe, both for the EU Commission. Mr Peacock has also provided support on studies relating to the new EU chemicals policy (REACH), the Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling and the Toy Safety Directive. For the UK Government, Mr Peacock has assisted in the modelling of the supply chain impacts of REACH, from which he presented a paper to the UK Envecon Conference in March 2006.
