Ms Anne Thorell is an experienced chemicals policy advisor and a Senior Consultant with RPA. She is a qualified environmental scientist and prior to joining RPA she worked for the Environment Agency (for England and Wales) where she worked on a range of issues such as water quality, flooding, environmental impact of agriculture, pesticides and industrial chemicals.

Since joining RPA, Ms Thorell has been working on a range of projects related to chemical risk management. This includes the Human Health Risk Reduction Strategy for Naphthalene (for the UK authorities) and source apportionment for phosphorous. Ms Thorell has also been involved with several of the REACH Implementation Programmes (RIPs) and provided strategic advice to UK and international companies on how to comply with REACH.
