Elizabeth Daly joined RPA in early 2008 as a Researcher. She has a degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia and an MA in Environment, Policy and Society gained through study with the Open University (while also doing voluntary work in the conservation sector).

Since joining RPA, she has assisted with a variety of projects covering both economic appraisal and policy. These have included an assessment of the economic impact of Scotland’s natural environment and the analysis of responses to the UK Government’s consultation on Appraisal for Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management. Elizabeth has also assisted with the development of the Thames Estuary 2100 Flood Risk Management Plan and with the analysis of the economic impacts of the major flooding in 2007 in Hull and East Yorkshire. Recent studies include an economic assessment of the benefits of minewater remediation projects for the Coal Authority.
